Sciadopitys verticillata ‘Gruene Kugel’ is an outstanding new selection from Germany noted for its compact well branched habit. Rounded in shape when young, developing slowly into a small compact tree with glossy deep green foliage year- round. Useful in gardens with limited space where the full sized Japanese Umbrella Pine is too large.
