Blue Mist Fothergilla

Selected at Morris Arboretum in Pennsylvania, this dwarf witch alder has particularly good blue-green leaf color. White flowers with sweet honey perfume appear on the tips of bare branches in spring. ‘Blue Mist’ can get good fall color, but plant it for the spring and summer foliage that will bring a soft note of misty blue to the garden.
