Kinugasa yama Maple
Kinugasa yama emphasizes the characteristic silvery pubescence of sieboldianum leaves. This cultivar is known for being extra hairy, having longer hairs than normally seen on the species. The 2-3″ green leaves have a bluish cast. Fall brings an attractive blend of orange and red. The stocky small tree with smooth gray-brown bark on a strong branch work enjoys moist, well-drained soil.
