Boulevard Cypress topiary
This popular, silvery blue tree boasts soft, plumy foliage and a full, pyramidal habit with somewhat open branching. In its natural form, Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Boulevard’ makes a colorful backdrop for other plants or an excellent choice for filling a corner or screening a view. And, since it responds well to training and shearing, a well-sculpted specimen becomes an exquisite focal point in the formal garden. Discovered as a sport on Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Squarrosa’.
