Picea orientalis ‘Mount Vernon’ is a soft-needled spruce with a crisp look and prominently displayed, tiny copper buds amid short, dark green needles. The well-behaved, bun-like plant is ideal for limited spaces, including troughs, rock gardens, and smaller landscapes. ‘Mount Vernon’ will eventually mature into a tidy, small garden tree.
