Schoodic Jack Pine
Pinus banksiana ‘Schoodic’ (pronounced skoo dik’) is an exceptional, dense, ground-hugging native selection of Jack Pine found on Schoodic Peninsula in Maine. Use the spreading, low-growing plant with short, emerald green needles to drape down a bank or sprawl over another challenging site. Typical of the species, ‘Schoodic’ is extremely hardy and adaptable, it tolerates heat, cold, and dry, sandy or poor soils.
