Loggerhead Douglas Fir
Pseudotsuga menziesii ‘Loggerhead’ is a slow-growing, spreading form of the majestic Douglas fir. Dark green needles cover the plant as the branches develop layers resulting in a shape reminiscent of a nest type spruce. Richly scented like an Oregon Christmas Tree, ‘Loggerhead’ is useful as a low border plant or where a low-maintenance, rounded form is desired. Plant in moist, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
