Hornbeck Canadian Hemlock
Tsuga canadensis ‘Hornbeck’ has tiny, flat needles and many brown buds which provide a dense covering for this tight, irregularly mounding hemlock. The durable, adaptable plant, which is bigger than ‘Abbott’s Pygmy’ and smaller than ‘Jervis’, grows slowly and offers an attractive, in-between size for smaller spaces, where the delicate, green foliage and informal shape lend texture and form.
