Sky Pencil Japanese Holly
A tall, slender, female holly with a distinctive, upright habit, Ilex crenata ‘Sky Pencil’ makes an attractive structural feature in perennial garden or container, or it makes an unusual, slow-growing hedge. Dark green, glossy leaves are small and rounded. From Japan, by way of the U.S. National Arboretum, this selection should be about 5′ tall and less than 1′ wide in 10 years, but it can achieve 10′ in time.
