Black Mondo Grass
Plant masses of the perennial groundcover, Ophiopogon planiscapus ‘Nigrescens’ beneath shrubs and trees or along pathways. The stiff, grass-like leaves, which are very nearly black, provide a pleasing texture, spikes of pale pink flowers and loads of black berries in fall. This artsy accent plant is also durable and easy to grow.
