Lindley’s Willow
The tiny stems and leaves on the slow growing, spreading Salix lindleyana make it an excellent companion for dwarf and miniature conifers in containers or any miniature garden. In early spring, the stems are adorned with small buds that swell larger and larger until blood red catkins open and expose tiny bright yellow anthers. Salix lindleyana prefers very well drained soil and full sun to partial shade.
