Lawrence Japanese Wisteria
Acknowledged by many as the top lavender blue cultivar, Wisteria floribunda ‘Lawrence’, is noted for having more blooms per raceme than all the other Japanese Wisteria. The 12-18” racemes are loaded with as many as 160 flowers. The dark green leaves turn a nice yellow in fall. The seed pods are abundant and large with one to five seeds each. Train this vine on a pergola over a garden bench where a visitor can enjoy the lovely flower scent.
