Mountain Gordlinia
Gordlinia x grandiflora is a rare cross of two related genera has given the gardener an amazingly beautiful new tree with the best features its parents have to offer. Its late summer flowers have large, showy white petals with a deep yellow center. The long, narrow, glossy, green, semi-evergreen foliage turns brilliant, scarlet red in autumn overlapping its flowering season. Rich, moist, well-drained soils will provide the best conditions.
